In 2015 our research demonstrated that the European golf market had started to stabilize in terms of numbers of registered golfers and golf courses in operation, compared to the trend of decline following the global economic downturn.

Though there are several key markets which have experienced a minor decline in demand (which we address in this report), local golf associations have come up with a number of effective initiatives to identify and address how to attract and retain golfers, especially newcomers.
